KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Performance:
  • Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in merchandise selection or helps locate items based on customer preferences.
  • Stays informed about current promotions and sales; upholds pricing and visual merchandising standards.
  • Adheres to merchandise handling and presentation standards, loss prevention protocols, and other tasks as assigned by Management.
  • Engages in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store setups and maintaining designated areas.

Customer Engagement:
  • Exemplifies and advocates for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, providing a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and resolves concerns promptly.
  • Ensures a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, coupon usage, returns, exchanges, security measures, and other operational procedures.
  • Encourages additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
  • Enrolls customers in loyalty programs.
  • Cultivates and maintains a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
  • Familiarizes oneself with current product fits and style assortments available in-store and online.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with clients through a customer relationship management system.

Operational Excellence:
  • Assists in replenishment efforts to ensure the store remains well-stocked and inviting.
  • Aids in fulfilling customer orders.
  • Contributes to visual merchandising tasks, including floor setups, window displays, and signage placement as directed.
  • Supports store cleanliness and organization.

Team Collaboration and Development:
  • Fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment for problem-solving.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to company-provided technology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and capability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift).
  • Regular climbing (34%-66% of the shift).
