Position Summary

The Facility Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for supporting all aspects of the Foundry's facilities. This role assists the Facility Director in overseeing general management and directing facilities-related functions across all locations, including operations, maintenance, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee matters related to the Foundry's physical facilities and off-site buildings, including assessments, planning, and maintenance.
  • Assist in strategic and tactical planning to allocate resources for current and future facilities initiatives.
  • Support all activities related to facility planning, energy management, safety compliance, space utilization, equipment, and maintenance.
  • Manage grounds upkeep, parking lot maintenance, and overall beautification of the Foundry.
  • Monitor campus contractors to ensure proper direction and outcomes.

Essential Skills:

  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience with fueling boats.
  • General facility maintenance skills, including minor repairs.
  • Landscaping and grounds maintenance capabilities.
  • Event setup skills (tables, chairs, waste management, etc.).
  • Ability to haul boat trailers.
  • Strong safety awareness.
  • Basic sanitation practices.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in general computer skills (MS Office Suite).
  • Willingness to perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications

Experience and Education:
Understanding of basic construction and maintenance related to large facilities. Experience in facilities operations and maintenance is preferred. A flexible schedule with part-time availability is required. A valid driving record is necessary.
