Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Public Health Nursing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will facilitate preceptorships and clinical experiences for nursing students, support Local Public Health staff and Public Health Nurses, and develop systems of support for Local Public Health organizations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead classroom training and clinical applied practice of the Local Public Health Nursing Training Program in the assigned region.
- Perform site visits annually to health departments in the assigned region.
- Provide clinical consultation as requested following the OLRH Clinical Consultation Policy.
Salary Information: $32,000 - $42,000 per year
Requirements:- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Minimum of twelve years of work experience as a RN, of which at least five years is Public Health Nurse (PHN) experience at a Massachusetts local, regional, or state health department
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
