About the Role

The Oak View Group is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Excellence: Demonstrate a commitment to delivering outstanding service, interacting with colleagues and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Bar Operations: Follow pre-shift notes and bar menus, providing service as described and adhering to company standards.
  • Alcoholic Beverage Service: Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with state and federal regulations, ensuring responsible pouring and ID verification.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits available, and be able to suggestively upsell products to guests.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash and operate the point-of-sale system.
  • Sanitation and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, ensuring bar equipment is clean and well-maintained.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization.
Requirements
  • Experience: Six months or more experience bartending in a high-volume environment.
  • Skills: Ability to accurately handle register and revenue collections, meet company standards for guest service and interaction, and possess knowledge of liquor laws.
  • Certifications: Valid ServSafe Alcohol certificate required.
  • Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
