Position Summary

Contribute to a manufacturing setting by executing maintenance tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Carry out minor repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Diagnose and/or fix facility, operational, and portable equipment as specified by the organization.
  • Complete all required documentation related to the equipment maintenance program.
  • Offer suggestions for enhancing equipment performance.
  • Travel as required to perform maintenance duties.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
  • Maintain awareness of and adhere to relevant company/customer QHSE standards.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or electrical systems is preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience with CNC controllers and/or manual machinery is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training will be considered.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as safety guidelines, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical skills.
  • Capable of solving practical problems and managing various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Adept at interpreting a variety of instructions presented in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
  • Effectively complete tasks and follow both oral and written instructions with minimal oversight.
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Accurately maintain necessary reports and records in a timely and legible manner, in accordance with applicable procedures and/or work orders.
