About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Accounting Manager to join our finance team at Jobot. This is a permanent, hybrid position in the exciting field of engineering, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's financial performance and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all cost accounting functions, including preparing and analyzing cost reports and identifying discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with various departments to compile and interpret important financial data.
  • Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cost-saving measures and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct audits and recommend any necessary actions based on findings.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide strategic guidance on all cost accounting matters to senior management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong ERP system experience is mandatory, with experience in Oracle being highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in IBM COGNOS TM1 is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
