Job Title: Virtual Territory Sales Executive

At Danaher Corporation, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Virtual Territory Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for selling or renewing our company's products, systems, and/or services via telephone or electronic means to customers in assigned territories, industries, or accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Call on accounts in your sales territory and prioritize sales activities in the accounts in an active sales cycle to position Cepheid solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and lead assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth.
  • Prospect new accounts and prepare information for all sales calls to secure new customers.
  • Research and understand territory growth opportunities for developing an effective business plan and sales strategy.
  • Evaluate competitor's products for internal communications and effective product positioning for a successful sale.
  • Maintain and develop strategic partnerships with key customers and leverage internal resources to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools, applying these skills consistently to forecast business, lead customer opportunities, and build opportunity pipeline.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience OR Master's degree in field with 3+ years of similar related sales experience.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments and collaborating with Product Managers, Outside Sales, etc.
  • Comfortable working in a virtual environment including working on video and phone and various virtual technologies.
  • Previous experience in Excel and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience working in a remote environment is a plus.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $70,000 – $85,000.
  • Eligibility for bonus/incentive pay.
