Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain personal relationships with existing store customers and develop new relationships to drive sales growth.
  2. Identify and fulfill customer product and/or service requirements, including fabricating hydraulic, industrial, and pneumatic hose assemblies.
  3. Coordinate pick up transactions at the counter, including locating and pulling orders as required.
  4. Perform computer data entry related to all areas of Parker Store operations, including accurate cycle counts, orders, and inventory management.
  5. Work with the store manager to maintain a professional store showroom appearance, assist in creating new displays, and implement related marketing programs.
  6. Perform daily/weekly cleaning of the store and bathroom(s), and assist with opening and closing the store.
  7. May serve as on-call for after-hours customer emergencies and drive to deliver and pick up materials as needed.


Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a High School diploma or GED and two to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Mechanical aptitude and hydraulic/pneumatic experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong reasoning and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret technical instructions and apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Excellent language skills, including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures, are also required. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and typing experience, are necessary for this role.
