Position Overview

Join MSK: Tenure Track Faculty, MSK Kids, Tow Center for Developmental Oncology

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in collaboration with MSK Kids, the Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program, and the Sloan Kettering Institute, is on the lookout for visionary scientists eager to tackle critical challenges in the biology of pediatric and young adult cancers for tenure-track roles at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels.

The Tow Center for Developmental Oncology brings together basic and translational researchers at MSK to uncover essential insights into the molecular underpinnings of cancers affecting children and young adults. Our ultimate aim is to achieve groundbreaking biological discoveries that lead to definitive treatment options for patients. MSK provides a unique and stimulating research environment, encompassing both fundamental and applied science disciplines, including Immunology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Computational Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Cell Biochemistry, and Structural Biology. The presence of esteemed clinical programs in cancer research, treatment, and prevention fosters exceptional opportunities for innovative collaboration. Direct integration with MSK Kids and various translational initiatives facilitates the swift advancement of enhanced therapies for patients.

Essential Qualifications:

  • An M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent, demonstrating outstanding clinical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Post-doctoral research experience, with a commitment to addressing significant issues at the intersection of biology and medicine, particularly concerning cancers that impact children or young adults.

Compensation Range: $105,000 - $270,000

Physician compensation is determined by various factors. This range reflects annual salary only and does not encompass supplemental performance-based compensation or any one-time payments that eligible candidates may receive upon hiring.
