Position Overview:

Exciting Opportunity: Tenure Track Faculty, MSK Kids, Tow Center for Developmental Oncology

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in collaboration with MSK Kids, the Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program, and the Sloan Kettering Institute, is on the lookout for innovative scientists eager to tackle critical challenges in the biology of cancers affecting children and young adults. We are offering tenure-track positions at the Assistant and Associate (Professor) Member levels.

The Tow Center for Developmental Oncology brings together basic and translational scientists at MSK to uncover fundamental insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying pediatric and young adult cancers. Our ultimate aim is to achieve groundbreaking biological discoveries that lead to definitive treatments for patients. MSK provides a unique and stimulating research environment, encompassing both basic and applied science programs in various fields, including Immunology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Computational Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Cell Biochemistry, and Structural Biology. The presence of renowned clinical programs in cancer research, treatment, and prevention offers unparalleled opportunities for collaborative innovation. Direct engagement with MSK Kids and multiple translational initiatives facilitates the swift development of enhanced therapies for patients.

Key Qualifications:

  • An M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent, demonstrating exceptional clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Post-doctoral research experience, with a commitment to addressing significant issues at the intersection of biology and medicine related to pediatric or young adult cancers.

Compensation Details:
$105,000 - $270,000

Note: Physician compensation is influenced by various factors. This range represents the annual salary only and does not include additional performance-based compensation or any one-time payments that may be offered at the time of hiring.
