Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned hardware design engineer specializing in Power Electronics to join our dynamic team dedicated to innovative product development for the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to define and segment offerings specifically for electronic systems.
- Engage in Voice of Customer (VoC) initiatives to gather customer requirements and identify market trends.
- Transform marketing needs into structured technical specifications.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and analyze hardware and embedded systems from initial concept through to production and customer support.

Provide guidance to Product Design Leads on product development to ensure alignment and consistency. Act as the primary technical reference for electronic circuit designs, including advanced fault detection algorithms.

Contribute to technology initiatives in partnership with technology teams, ensuring alignment with strategic technical roadmaps. Participate in standards organizations to monitor and influence evolving industry standards.

Conduct research and development on emerging technologies to support the architectural design of electronic hardware solutions with potential for intellectual property development.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Participate in hardware design reviews, offering expert insights on best practices.
- Interface with clients to understand industry needs and emerging technologies, developing future solutions based on their feedback.
- Work closely with verification teams to define and approve testing protocols for new or modified products.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware development and design implementation.

Technical Skills:
- Proficient in electronics hardware design and simulation tools, including knowledge of DC Power Systems, UPS, Rectifiers, and Inverters.
- Strong understanding of electric machines, control theory, and power conversion.
- Experience with PCB manufacturing processes and simulation software such as Matlab and PSpice.

Demonstrated success in new product development, including debugging and root cause analysis for embedded systems. Must be comfortable working in a structured environment with formal documentation and approval processes.
