Data Entry Clerk Job Description

The Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the Joint Advertising, Market Research & Studies (JAMRS) contract by accurately processing and managing data related to military recruitment and advertising strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately input a variety of data into databases, spreadsheets, and other data management systems.
  • Data Verification and Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy of data by cross-referencing it with source documents and reports, and identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in data entries.
  • Support for Data Management Team: Assist the data management team in organizing and managing large datasets, and provide administrative support for data-related tasks, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree or coursework in data management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in data entry, data management, or a related administrative role, with 1-2 years preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in data entry software and tools, strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, good organizational and time management skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Security Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and successfully complete a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check and a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) check.
