Job Overview

IT Concepts is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Chief Innovation Architect to lead the development of strategic innovation initiatives and drive the implementation of cutting-edge technologies. This role will be responsible for driving the enterprise architecture, innovation, and coordinating engagements across the Innovation Ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic innovation initiatives that align with the company's mission and goals.
  • Lead the development of the enterprise architecture and innovation roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure innovation initiatives align with SIE/operator requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Oversee the development and execution of innovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet the approval board process for innovation integration.
  • Establish metrics to measure the success of innovation initiatives and make data-driven recommendations to leadership to improve outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Senior level: 10 years of experience and a MA/MS degree.
  • Substitutions for education: Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree, or 12 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to lead and develop innovation strategies and road maps that align emerging technologies with DoD mission goals and national security objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, cybersecurity, blockchain, cloud computing, and data analytics.
  • Expertise in designing and overseeing complex enterprise architectures and integrating new technologies into existing DoD systems.
  • Strong proficiency in cybersecurity practices, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies, ensuring new technologies are secure and meet stringent DoD security standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own.
  • Ability to work fully on-site with minimal accommodation.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
