Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Strategic Account Executive to join our team, focusing on driving new business and revenue growth within the SLED (State, Local, Education) sector. This role will involve engaging with municipalities, county governments, K-12 school districts, and other public sector entities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and surpass sales targets for bookings and pipeline expansion.
- Establish Fortive as a market leader by promoting unique, value-added services.
- Conduct both in-person and virtual sales meetings with prospective and existing clients across designated regions.
- Manage intricate deals and foster relationships to maximize influence across a multi-state area.
- Develop strategic territory plans and client engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to optimize lead generation efforts.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging available resources.
- Coordinate with operational and sales support teams to ensure successful project implementation.
- Recognize cross-selling opportunities and engage relevant resources.
- Utilize sales qualification methodologies to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Schedule and conduct regular meetings with current and prospective clients.
- Master the Fortive Cloud Platform to enhance software sales.
- Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
- Participate in industry events to expand Fortive's market presence.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in selling technology or business solutions to the SLED market.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals and developing new business.
- Experience managing complex sales processes and relationships, particularly in public sector implementations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct effective customer meetings, both in-person and virtually.
- Familiarity with the construction project lifecycle is preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position, including sales incentives, is competitive and commensurate with experience.
