Director, Workplace Solutions - Greenville, SC

**Incumbent's sales territory requires them to work locally (including client and prospective client visits).

Candidate Profile

Hilldrup is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Director for Workplace Solutions to join our team of sales executives. The ideal candidate will be strategic and able to effectively develop and execute prospecting/sales goals.

The selected candidate will own a designated territory and report directly to the Vice-President of Workplace Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute customer-focused sales strategies that demonstrate strong solutions and results for our prospects and customers.
  2. Prospect, network, and command a major presence in your territory by estimating/selling and closing of new business within Hilldrup's workplace services line.
  3. Manage the customer sales cycle ensuring that all aspects of our services are delivered as promised.
  4. Adhere to established sales techniques with a strong focus on ethical business practices and meet sales objectives.
  5. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of workplace solutions and clients' issues and needs.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree from an accredited university, preferably with a concentration in marketing, sales, and/or business.
  • Five to seven years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the moving or furniture industries.
  • Previous project management experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomous work.
  • Able to generate new business and maintain existing relationships independently.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding financial and business acumen.
  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and strong attention to detail.
  • Adept regarding the use of technology.
  • Commitment to highest ethical practices.
