Key Responsibilities- Patrol Pool Areas: Regularly inspect and monitor pool areas to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
- Enforce Safety Rules: Maintain and enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide Customer Service: Greet and assist patrons, answer questions, and collect fees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with Aquatics Programs: Participate in the coordination and implementation of various aquatics programs, including swimming lessons, water aerobics, and other recreational activities.
- Maintain Pool Facilities: Assist with the maintenance of pool facilities, including cleaning, testing, and adjusting pool water chemistry.
- Respond to Emergencies: Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including rescues and first aid situations.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
- High School Diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Lifeguard Certification: Current lifeguard certification, including CPR and First Aid, is required.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in aquatic program management or a related field is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
- Physical Demands: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift, bend, and move equipment as needed is required.
