We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Efficus, Inc. as a Resident Care Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, monitoring skin condition, and documenting care provided.
- Report any changes in resident condition to the nurse or supervisor.
- Initiate corrective action as necessary and seek assistance from supervisors when needed.
- Identify safety hazards and emergency situations, and take corrective action.
- Participate in facility education programs and follow facility procedures related to equipment and supply control.
- Review care plans and perform care as outlined, documenting resident responses to care provided.
- Assist residents with meals, feed residents as necessary, and accurately record fluid intake and food consumption.
- Accurately measure and record output, weigh residents, and take vital signs as assigned.
- Follow infection control and Resident's Rights policies, and maintain resident units and belongings in a clean and orderly condition.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
