We are seeking a Senior Nursing Administrator to join our team at Ascension Seton. This is a full-time night shift position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Role

This role will supervise and coordinate unit staffing, ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned areas. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to assess daily patient care needs, develop and distribute patient care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for assigning, directing, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, as well as contributing to or performing performance evaluations of staff.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, applicants must possess a current Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience. A minimum of one year of cumulative job-specific experience is also required.

A valid BLS Provider certification obtained within one month of hire date or job transfer date is mandatory. Additionally, two years of RN experience in a hospital setting and one year of RN leadership experience at Dell Children's Medical Center are highly desirable.
