We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Management Specialist to join our team at the County of Delaware, PA. As a key member of our public health department, you will play a critical role in designing, monitoring, and evaluating data of our individual public health programs as well as indicators of the department as a whole.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Performance Management Systems: Design and implement performance management systems and measures to drive program and organizational improvement.
- Collaborate with Program Staff: Work closely with program staff to develop meaningful performance and evaluation metrics, and to ensure that data is used to inform decision making.
- Monitor Performance Indicator Data: Monitor performance indicator data to identify opportunities for best practices or improvement, and to develop strategies for continuous quality improvement.
- Conduct Research and Evaluation: Conduct research and evaluate policies, programs, and services using valid, reliable, and comparable data, and produce data reports as requested.
- Advocate for Evidence-Based Decision Making: Advocate for the use of evidence in decision making, and ensure that data is used to inform policy and program decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in public health, political science, business, computer science, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in data management and evaluation or a related field is required.
- Knowledge of Public Health Systems: Knowledge of public health systems, workflows, and project management is required.
- Statistical Analysis Software: Knowledge of statistical analysis software is required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to interact appropriately and effectively with a wide range of persons.
