The U.S. Army is seeking highly skilled individuals to join their team as Dental Specialists. As a key member of the Army's dental care team, you will assist Army dentists in examining and treating patients, as well as managing dental offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dental operatory and assist dentists during patient exams.
  • Administer anesthesia and assist with placement and removal of sutures.
  • Prepare restorative and impression materials.
  • Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and operate resuscitative equipment.
Training and Requirements

To become a Dental Specialist, you will undergo 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and eight weeks of Advanced Individual Training. This training will cover topics such as preventive dentistry, dental office procedures, radiology techniques, and dental hygiene procedures.

Requirements
  • Be between the ages of 17-34.
  • Have a GED or High School Diploma.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or Green Cardholder.
  • Meet Army Height and weight standards.
