Role Summary:

As a Sales Team Leader, your journey begins with establishing and nurturing your own client network through proactive outreach to small and medium-sized enterprises. Once you master our sales methodology, you will also take on the pivotal role of training and guiding new team members while continuing to oversee your own client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Development: Expand your portfolio by engaging with business owners and key decision-makers.
  • Training & Development: Provide in-field training to inspire and assist new sales representatives.
  • Mentorship: Offer personalized coaching to ensure the success of new team members.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with clients and colleagues.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Connect with businesses in your designated sales area through outreach and meetings.
  • Present our supplemental insurance solutions to business owners and key stakeholders.
  • Manage client communications, including follow-ups and appointment scheduling.
  • Engage in team meetings and regularly report on sales activities and performance metrics.
  • Maintain and grow your client base, including new, referral, and existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales, ideally in a B2B context.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and report on your own sales activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $78,000 - $128,000 annually

Additional Qualifications:

  • Current license in Health & Life general lines (or willingness to obtain one with licensing reimbursement available).
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates nearing degree completion will also be considered, as well as those with less than 4 years of professional experience who possess relevant outside sales experience.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts (Monday - Friday) with weekends as necessary.
