Role Overview:
As a Direct Sales Leader, your journey begins with building and overseeing your own client portfolio through proactive outreach to small and medium-sized enterprises. Once you master our sales techniques, you will also take on the vital role of training and guiding new team members while continuing to manage your own accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Expand your portfolio by engaging with business owners and key decision-makers.
- Training & Leadership: Facilitate in-field training sessions to inspire and assist new sales representatives.
- Coaching: Offer personalized mentoring to ensure the success of new team members.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong connections with clients and colleagues.
Daily Duties:
- Connect with businesses in your designated sales area through calls and meetings.
- Present our supplemental insurance products to business owners and decision-makers.
- Manage client communications, including follow-ups and appointment scheduling.
- Engage in team meetings and regularly report on sales activities and performance metrics.
- Grow and maintain your client base, including new, referral, and existing clients.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in sales, ideally within a B2B context.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and report on your own sales activities.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $78,000 - $128,000 annually
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be licensed in Health & Life general lines or willing to obtain the necessary licensing (reimbursement available).
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates nearing degree completion will also be considered.
Shift:
- 8-hour shift (Monday - Friday), with weekends as needed.
