Job Title: Assistant Project Manager I

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager I to join our team. As a key member of our Field Operations team, you will play a critical role in the planning and implementation of concrete frame and formwork projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project planning and implementation, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Perform jobsite inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in managing project productivity, costs, and quality, aligning with company policies and practices.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to enhance project procurement, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate material and equipment schedules, promoting efficient use and minimizing waste.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor contracts, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned to support the organization's goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6 months of work experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, customers, and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and organize complex information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries, and jobsite productivities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
  • Ability to travel and work extended periods on projects outside of the office area.
