This role involves delivering exceptional front-line customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors who engage with the Office of the Registrar.

It is essential to maintain a welcoming and supportive attitude consistently, even during busy periods. Proactively ensure that customers receive prompt and precise assistance. Stay knowledgeable about the overall functions of the Office of the Registrar and general information about the university. This position requires a strong customer service mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers with online services, manage special enrollment requests (such as course changes, cancellations, re-instatements, pass/no pass options, and excessive hours petitions), complete paper documentation, process certification requests, handle transcript inquiries, assist with veteran eligibility forms, manage fee adjustments, withdrawals, diploma requests, graduation status, course auditing, updates to personal information, maintain Buckley flag status, address enrollment holds, manage closed matriculations, and fulfill Banner PIN requests, along with various inquiries regarding the university.

Ensure the transfer of detailed data requests and processing to the Academic Records or relevant team as necessary.

Support the Academic Records and Administrative Services teams during quieter periods at the customer service desk as needed.

Foster a positive work atmosphere by interacting and communicating respectfully with students, colleagues, supervisors, customers, and clients. Proactively identify and report any issues to the supervisor following approved resolution procedures. Any failure to report known issues will be regarded as substandard performance.
