Position Overview:

Role Summary:

The Program Operations Manager will oversee the program from its inception to delivery, ensuring timely execution while meeting operational cost targets and fulfilling customer expectations. This role involves leading and coordinating activities across various functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison among Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Production Control, and Operations.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to identify and rectify program issues.
  • Possess or pursue EV certification.
  • Manage Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilities, including schedule, cost, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present monthly Variance Analysis Reports (VARs).
  • Provide inputs for Estimate at Completion (EAC) and forecast Estimate to Complete (ETC).
  • Oversee production schedules across multiple locations.
  • Contribute to proposals by developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and incorporating Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • Review Integrated Product Team (IPT) checklists to ensure program objectives are achieved.
  • Engage suppliers early and identify long lead items to adhere to production timelines.
  • Support customer meetings and present updates regularly.
  • Contribute to the integrated schedule and manage inputs to ensure timely product delivery and customer shipments.
  • Integrate customer and quality requirements critical to the program.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ensure completion of key milestones through diligent follow-up.
  • Manage multiple complex projects with shifting priorities.
  • Track On-Time Delivery (OTD) for spare parts and deliverables.
  • Monitor assets throughout the production cycle to ensure timely delivery.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Possession of an active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is mandatory prior to starting.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SAP/ERP/CMES systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Cost Account Management principles.
