The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware asset management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Hardware Asset Data: You will be responsible for analyzing hardware asset data and creating reports to ensure compliance with hardware licensing agreements.
  • Manage Hardware Inventory: You will manage the company's hardware inventory, ensuring that all assets are properly tracked and accounted for.
  • Implement Best Practices: You will implement best practices for hardware asset management, including developing and maintaining policies and procedures.
  • Provide Timely and Accurate Data: You will provide timely and accurate data during the software contract renewal process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software asset management or a related role.
  • Knowledge of hardware licensing agreements and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in hardware asset management tools (Flexera/ServiceNow) and systems.

About the Department:

VUMC IT provides hardware, software, and service solutions for the entire Medical Center. With over 40,000 workstations in the Medical Center, our teams can assist not only with hardware support but also software and application support and services to enhance security and protection of your information.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
