Your Expertise- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in human resources with a focus on achieving business results, particularly in a retail context.
- Experience with Workday and Kronos systems is advantageous.
- Proven track record in delivering effective employee relations coaching and support.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and ease.
- Detail-oriented, innovative, and equipped with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
- Results-driven with the ability to operate within tight deadlines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and compliance in the US and Canada.
- Willingness to travel occasionally may be necessary.
- The People & Organization DTC Stores Team supports over 100 stores and 2500+ employees across the continental US, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with Field Leadership and key stakeholders in designated districts.
- Deliver effective, innovative, and impartial employee relations support for Field Functions through coaching, policy interpretation, progressive disciplinary measures, and incident investigations.
- Lead and manage store investigations in collaboration with external investigators; address employee concerns and recommend suitable actions, partnering with internal legal counsel to ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Guide managers through the talent management process to promote consistency, clarity, and actionable plans.
- Identify and promote learning opportunities for employee development.
- Analyze and report on P&O metrics to evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of people management practices, including talent management, recruitment, employee relations, retention, and turnover.
- Ensure adherence to P&O-related federal, state, local, and company regulations by staying informed on relevant laws and regulations; contribute to the development of compliance aspects of policies and programs.
- Review and update DTC Policies and Procedures in collaboration with DTC Store Operations.
- Engage in P&O Department projects as required.
