Your Expertise- Over 8 years of progressive experience in human resources, particularly within a retail context.
- Experience with HR systems such as Workday and Kronos is advantageous.
- Proven track record in delivering effective employee relations guidance and support.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and poise.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously.
- Results-driven mindset with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance in the US and Canada.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
- Support a diverse network of over 100 stores and 2500+ employees across the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Field Leadership and key stakeholders in designated districts.
- Provide innovative and objective employee relations support through coaching, policy interpretation, and disciplinary processes.
- Lead and manage store investigations in collaboration with external investigators, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Assist managers in navigating the talent management process to promote consistency and clarity.
- Identify and facilitate learning opportunities for employee development.
- Analyze and report on HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of people management practices.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and company regulations regarding HR practices.
- Review and enhance HR policies and procedures in collaboration with store operations.
- Engage in various HR projects as needed to support departmental goals.
