Position Overview

The Crisis Caseworker plays a vital role in an intensive family- and community-oriented treatment initiative aimed at addressing the multifaceted environments affecting at-risk youth, including familial, educational, and social influences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support licensed therapists in achieving therapeutic goals with families.
  • Ensure safety, instruct on parenting techniques, administer drug screenings, and respond effectively to crises.
  • Engage in regular team supervision and collaborative consultations.
  • Provide occasional evening support and coverage for families.

Position Details:

Compensation: Starting at $ / hr (salary is determined by educational background and relevant experience).

Location: This role is based in Orlando, FL.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Mental Health, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.

Schedule:

  • Participation in an intensive 10-day MST training program.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Florida Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, is required.
