Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Radiology Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures as directed by the Radiologist. Your role is crucial within the multidisciplinary team in Medical Imaging, significantly contributing to patient care.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Preparing patients for imaging procedures by positioning them appropriately and adjusting necessary equipment.
- Evaluating patients for any factors that may affect the procedure, including medication history and preparation status.
- Operating imaging equipment, processing images, and ensuring the procedure room is equipped with the necessary tools and supplies.
- Maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling appointments, and overseeing patient logistics to ensure a smooth workflow.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure is mandatory.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, unless an exemption is granted.
