Senior Safety Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Administrator to join our team at IES Communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety administration, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety policies and procedures.
About the JobThe Senior Safety Administrator will be responsible for providing support to the Safety Manager and other departments in maintaining a safe working environment. This includes conducting site audits, investigating incidents, and developing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Safety Manager in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct site audits to identify potential hazards and develop corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of safety incidents and employee training.
- Collaborate with management and staff to identify and address safety concerns.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in safety administration, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
