Job Summary

As a Clinical Services Coordinator RN Enterostomal Therapy, you will play a vital role in overseeing the development and continuation of programs that support the Baptist mission. You will work closely with physicians, patients, families, and hospitals to improve patient care, serving as an educator, liaison, and coordinator for the program. Your responsibilities will include enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, attaining knowledge and competency in current nursing practice, and collaborating with patients, families, and others in the conduct of nursing practice.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by staying up-to-date with current nursing standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and implement programs to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Provide education and training to colleagues and other healthcare professionals on enterostomal therapy and related topics.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to enterostomal therapy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in nursing, with a focus on enterostomal therapy. A Master's degree is preferred, but a BSN is the minimum requirement. You will also need at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care, preferably including at least one year of critical care. Certification in a specialty area is also preferred.
