Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

University Clinical Health is seeking a skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will provide total patient management for neonatal patients in collaboration with and under the direction of a physician. Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic health problems, following established neonatal standards, procedures, and protocols, and giving patient care directions to nursing and other staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose neonatal patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Perform clinical procedures
  • Order patient/medication orders
  • Interpret test results
  • Provide parent education
  • Ensure patient/family satisfaction
  • Comply with regulatory requirements
  • Document patient care
  • Manage delivery room and resuscitation
  • Provide team orientation
  • Develop patient care protocols
  • Plan patient discharge

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
  • Licensed as a RN in the State of Tennessee
  • 2 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Knowledge of FDA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
