Cybersecurity Consultant: Expertise in Offense and Defense

About the RoleThe successful candidate will utilize various tools and techniques to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvement. As part of the Unit 42 Consulting team, you will work closely with clients to implement effective incident response plans, risk management strategies, and digital forensic services.

Key Responsibilities- Assess Security Posture: Utilize various tools and methodologies to evaluate clients' security posture and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct Penetration Testing: Employ penetration testing techniques to simulate cyber attacks and identify vulnerabilities.
- Develop Incident Response Plans: Work with clients to create comprehensive incident response plans, ensuring they are prepared to respond to potential security breaches.
- Provide Cybersecurity Recommendations: Offer expert advice on cybersecurity best practices and provide recommendations for improving clients' overall security posture.
- 6+ Years of Experience: In an offensive security role, resulting in subject matter expertise in at least three core service offerings.
- Team Management: Experience managing a team of consultants.
- Malware Analysis: A deep understanding of how malicious software works.
- Exploit Development: Ability to modify known and/or craft custom exploits in a manner that evades detection from prominent EDRs.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of tools and techniques used to conduct network, wireless, and web application penetration testing.
The estimated salary for this position ranges between $151,000 - $208,000/yr, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. The compensation package may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
