About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Palo Alto, USA. As a key member of our security advisory team, you will work closely with clients to assess and improve their cybersecurity posture.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have 6+ years of experience in risk assessment, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments. You will also have strong knowledge of tools and techniques used in network, wireless, and web application penetration testing. Additionally, you will have experience in conducting cyber risk assessments using industry standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, and PCI.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in managing teams and projects
  • Strong understanding of how malicious software works (e.g., malware, trojans, rootkits)
  • Ability to modify known exploits manually without dependence on consumer tools
  • Familiarity with web application penetration testing and code auditing
  • Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Linux, Windows administration
  • Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, ruby, bash, C/C++, C#, Java)
  • Knowledge of security assessment tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, MobSF, Metasploit, Burp Suite Pro)

Benefits

Palo Alto Networks offers a competitive salary range of $151,000 - $208,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a base salary, we offer restricted stock units and a bonus. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and flexible paid time off.
