Cyber Defense Role

Secure Innovations LLC is committed to excellence in cybersecurity, focusing on cyber defense to safeguard data, information systems, and infrastructure. The Cyber Defense Analyst (Wireless) 2 plays a vital role in monitoring network activity, identifying anomalies, and reporting events to ensure the security of our systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in using cyber defense tools to monitor, detect, analyze, and categorize anomalous activity. They will generate cybersecurity cases and route them as appropriate. Additionally, they will leverage knowledge of commonly used network protocols and detection methods to defend against related abuses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Use cyber defense tools to monitor, detect, and analyze network activity.
  • Identify anomalous behavior and report events to ensure system security.
  • Generate cybersecurity cases and route them as appropriate.
  • Leverage knowledge of network protocols to defend against abuses.

Required qualifications include:

  • An Active Clearance with FS Poly is required.
  • Four years of experience as a CDA in similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • One year of experience in TCP/IP fundamentals and network traffic analysis tools is required.
  • Two years of experience using security information and event management suites is required.

Required certifications include:

  • DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or Level II certification is required.
  • Splunk software training course "Fundamentals 1" is required.
  • A current Wireless certification similar to CWNA, GAWN, CWSP, OSWP, CCNA-Wireless, or CCNP-Wireless is required.
