Job Summary

USI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Construction Project Manager/RPR to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction inspection and project management, with a strong understanding of company, client, government, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction Inspection: Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with contract documents and approved shop drawings/material submittals.
  • Field Observations: Record and determine the acceptability of construction work performed.
  • Quality Control: Verify construction conforms to contractors quality control plan and monitors contractors quality control.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports outlining the work performed and the quality of completed and acceptable for payment.
  • Payment Applications: Review and verify contractors payment applications, proposals, and change order requests.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate construction activities with owner and assist Project Manager with client on construction related issues.
  • Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain project records in accordance with the companys, clients, and governments standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Coordinate or conduct quality assurance testing, inspections, and surveys.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required, INDOT certified technician, or Construction/Civil Engineering degree required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years continuous experience in the inspection of federally and locally funded transportation projects.
  • Skills: Knowledge of INDOT standard and procedures, ability to read and comprehend construction documents, strong mathematics skills, good oral and written communication skills, and strong ability to work independently and in a team environment.
