About the Role

South Western Communications is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Healthcare Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining valued customer relationships, expanding our current customer base, and driving sales revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with potential and existing healthcare customers by selling integrated solutions.
  • Timely and effective follow-up on all sales leads.
  • Accurately promote the company and all the products and services offered.
  • Travel to our current and prospective clients' sites to further develop relationships and inspire confidence in our company.
  • Turn opportunities into sales by providing timely and accurate responses to customers' requests for proposals and/or bids.
  • Write and submit professional proposals.
  • Track and provide accurate sales information to company management.
  • Be a customer-facing representative of our healthcare team at industry and trade conferences and develop personal connections with leaders in your field.
  • Exceed all company sales goals and objectives as it relates to this position.
  • Maintain current, detailed, and accurate data in our CRM, providing an accurate sales forecast in real-time.
  • Other duties as required or assigned by company management.
Accountability

The Healthcare Account Manager will be accountable to the Director of Sales. Secondary accountability will be to the VP of Sales as well as other management, team members, and customers of the company.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in business, marketing, or engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of sales or service of electronic equipment. The candidate should possess knowledge of customer relations, marketing and communications, and sales process management. A proven track record in sales is required, with 3+ years of experience in Healthcare Capital Equipment Sales preferred.

  • History of successful self-management and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while effectively handling stressful situations.
  • Personable and well-organized, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Ability to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.
  • Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills that allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
  • Desire to grow professionally through training opportunities.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers, including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid and current driver's license.
