Job Title: CSR II Patient Access Center

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused CSR II Patient Access Center Representative to join our team at UF Health. As a key member of our Patient Access Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and community healthcare providers while handling high-volume incoming phone calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and community healthcare providers
  • Maintain up-to-date reference materials
  • Act as a subject matter expert in systems and administrative protocols of primary care, specialty, and ancillary service lines
  • Assist with disseminating and ensuring understanding of updated information regarding triage protocols and patient access center
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to new and existing team members in the patient access center
  • Perform all Patient Access Center CSR duties

Requirements:

  • Critical thinking, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and quality of work
  • Basic computer literacy and arithmetic skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments to work independently as well as a collaborative team member
  • Operate multi-line automatic call distribution compatible telephone

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data entry experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare-related industry
  • Third-party payor and computer experience for inputting data and reviewing patient demographic material

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
