As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in facilitating patient admission flow, ensuring accurate information collection and verification of insurance benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate patient admission process, ensuring accurate and timely collection of information
  • Verify insurance benefits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist with the Payment Assistance program, collect payments, and enter information into the hospital system
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a clerical setting, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Proficient in computer skills, including EMR/Cerner experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year experience in insurance benefits and precertification
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Current BLS certification
