Job Summary

Sound Generations is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian I to join our Community Dining team in Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and develop education programs for clients.
  • Assess and evaluate nutritional needs of clients, identifying high-risk issues and developing criteria for intervention.
  • Collaborate with food production and delivery teams to integrate nutritional care programs.
  • Review and approve menus, ingredients, and nutritional analyses to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Provide support on programmatic practices, including sanitation, safety, and security standards.
  • Act as a Mandatory Reporter, identifying and reporting concerns such as abuse, neglect, or emergent medical issues.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support program efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field.
  • One year of related work or volunteer experience.
  • Dietitian registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Dietitian certification with the Washington State Department of Health or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
