Position Overview

ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is a reputable healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care for over six decades. We invite you to become a vital member of our innovative team that is at the forefront of medical advancements.

We are in search of a full-time Healthcare Assistant/Scribe to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to our mission of providing comprehensive ENT and Allergy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to patient inquiries and managing calls
  • Measuring and recording patient vitals
  • Securing necessary authorizations for procedures
  • Coordinating appointments for diagnostic tests and surgical interventions
  • Preparing examination rooms for patient visits
  • Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures
  • Processing prescription requests
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments
  • Documenting patient encounters as a Medical Scribe

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant and Scribe.
  • Current certification or willingness to undergo in-house training and state certification.
  • Experience assisting with surgical procedures is preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with patients and team members.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish is advantageous.
  • CCMA/RMA certification is preferred.
