Position Overview

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) role is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to be a vital part of a healthcare provider's team.

The Medical Assistant role at Capital Medical Center will enable you to interact with patients while collaborating closely with your clinical team to deliver outstanding customer service and patient care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Execute safe clinical procedures within the CMA's scope of practice, including clinical tasks related to managing outpatient care.
  • Act as a crucial team member under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
  • Leverage your expertise to integrate available standards, resources, and data effectively.
  • Assist with administrative duties as required, applying your discretion, sound judgment, and diplomacy to ensure excellent office and patient care management.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant in Washington State (MA-C).
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a physician's office or other medical facility is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, as well as paid time off. The compensation range for this position is $35.01 USD. However, pay may vary based on individual factors such as skill set, experience level, and certifications or education.

If this position is associated with a union contract, compensation will align with the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant's years of experience.
