Job Summary

The Senior Property Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring seamless management and exceptional resident experiences. This role requires a high level of expertise in property management, with a focus on leasing, marketing, accounting, maintenance, resident relations, and management reporting policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise on-site staff and work closely with vendors to ensure compliance with service contracts.
  • Assist the Property Manager in preparing operating and capital budgets, as well as operating expense reconciliations.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to prevent/identify problems and exposures.
  • Ensure adherence to owners' policies and procedures, as well as compliance with codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of accounts payable.
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians or vendors as needed.
  • Schedule building activities, including move-ins/move-outs and verify insurance.
  • Maintain personal contact with corporate staff and assist the Property Manager in preparing monthly reports.
  • Work with the Property Manager to facilitate property management, accounting, marketing, and construction needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years Tax Credit experience.
  • Sales and/or leasing experience.
  • General office and accounting skills.
  • Computer proficient.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Required
  • 2+ years prior experience in the industry.
  • Sales and/or leasing experience.
  • Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of OneSite preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills.
  • General office and accounting skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties efficiently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a variety of different personality types.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to work within established policies, procedures, and examples.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Reliability, dependability, and flexibility a must.
