- Design comprehensive equipment layouts, integrating components such as pumps, motors, pressure vessels, manifolds, filters, piping, valves, electrical controls, and system enclosures.
- Employ CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, to create detailed models based on specifications, technical drawings, and client submissions.
- Advocate for design standards, manufacturing principles, and cost-effective solutions throughout the design lifecycle.
- Define construction standards for key components, including structural bases and enclosures, collaborating with suppliers and engineering professionals as necessary.
- Enhance and maintain expertise in various system configurations, focusing on product standardization and the reuse of established designs.
- Track project timelines and ensure that individual tasks are completed punctually.
- Encourage transparent communication, cultivate strong relationships, and establish yourself as a reliable team member.
- Uphold core values: a positive mindset, flexibility, accountability, and self-drive.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate Degree, ideally in mechanical engineering technology.
- Expertise in 3D CAD software, with a preference for SolidWorks; familiarity with AutoCAD 2D is advantageous.
- Experience in designing custom-engineered products.
- Solid understanding of fluid hydraulics, including valves, flow meters, pressure gauges, and filters.
- Capability to develop custom-engineered product designs, select suitable components, and ensure optimal system performance.
- Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead project discussions, present to small groups, and interact with clients.
