Southlake Orthopaedics is a leading provider of orthopaedic care in Hoover and Grandview. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Technician to join our team.

Job Summary
  • This role involves providing assistance with patient examinations and treatments under the direction of a physician or advanced practice provider.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong organizational abilities. Prior experience in an orthopaedic clinic is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Patient care responsibilities include scheduling appointments, organizing patient flow, accompanying patients to exam rooms, and assisting with various procedures.
  2. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assessing patient conditions, collecting medical histories, and documenting health information.
  3. Ongoing tasks may involve casting and splinting applications, preparing injections, wound dressing changes, and adhering to infection control guidelines.
Required Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with prior experience in an orthopaedic clinic or relevant certifications (such as EMT or Orthopaedic Technician).
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
