Role Overview

The VP, Technology Operations & Incident Response Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure and responding to incidents that impact our business and clients. This position requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement incident management processes, manage a team, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement incident management processes to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
  • Manage a team to respond to technology incidents, including prioritizing and classifying incidents, coordinating with internal and external teams, and providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Deploy and maintain incident management tools and systems to optimize process efficiency
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop preventive measures to minimize recurrence
  • Develop and update incident management policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Collaborate with other IT service management functions to ensure alignment and synergy
  • Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in IT incident management or a comparable role within the IT and financial sectors
  • Thorough understanding of ITIL incident management processes and best practices
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, especially under pressure
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging stakeholders of all levels
  • Proficiency in incident management tools and systems
  • Familiarity with service management frameworks like ITIL
  • Experience with IT service management software such as ServiceNow
  • Capability to thrive both independently and as part of a team
