Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Sales Consultant to join our team at PNC Bank NA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Acquisition: Build and maintain a strong customer base through proactive, outbound sales conversations, creating customer loyalty and growing customer share of wallet.
  • Sales and Relationship Management: Sell PNC's products and services to existing and prospective clients, demonstrating how PNC can help them achieve their financial goals, and identifying and acting upon sales opportunities to achieve assigned sales goals.
  • Customer Experience Management: Grow customer household relationships through onboarding new clients and building a strong pipeline of appointments for branch and PNC partners, demonstrating value for customers to achieve greater financial well-being.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Create an exceptional customer experience at events in a variety of external locations to drive desired acquisition, customer loyalty, and increased share of wallet, and strengthen client relationships through planning continued on-site events.
  • Product Knowledge and Education: Understand PNC capabilities, educate and coach customers on technology options, and sell at non-PNC locations, requiring access to a reliable vehicle and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

  • Customer Focus: Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions, and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Risk Management: Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

  • Community Development: Experience in community development, with a focus on building relationships and driving business growth.

  • Branch Banking Services: Experience in branch banking services, with a focus on building relationships and driving business growth.
Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require an Associate's degree or equivalent, as well as related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties. Typically requires 3+ years of experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
