The SARGEANT HEALTH CENTER is in search of a dedicated and academically focused Glaucoma Consultant to enhance our esteemed faculty.
- DEPARTMENT OF OPHTHALMOLOGY & VISUAL SCIENCES We are looking for a glaucoma expert who is committed to academic excellence and patient care.
The primary clinical responsibilities will be conducted at our main eye institute, with potential for additional duties at affiliated clinics. Our ophthalmology faculty also provide care at various partner hospitals and institutions, offering ample opportunities for teaching and mentoring residents in Ophthalmology.
Our eye and vision department is led by a team of 36 physicians, nine optometrists, and five research PhDs, fostering a collaborative environment.
Successful candidates should demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a passion for the academic mission of our institution.Applicants must be board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology, have completed a Glaucoma Fellowship, and be eligible for medical licensure. A keen interest in clinical or basic science research is advantageous and can be supported with initial funding.
