Position Overview: Urogynecologist - Open Rank

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reproductive Surgery (FPMRS) to enhance our team of three FPMRS physicians, along with several advanced practice nurses and pelvic floor therapists. The WISH clinic, which focuses on Women's Incontinence and Sexual Health, is well-established and recognized in the community.

Clinical Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be involved in both inpatient and outpatient management of patients suffering from pelvic floor disorders. Collaboration with residents is essential, and a strong working relationship with urologists, gastroenterologists, and colorectal surgeons is already in place. The position offers access to a wide range of subspecialists for consultation as needed.

Research and Education:
Opportunities for research are available, and there may be a requirement for outreach clinic participation in the future. The role includes some coverage of gynecological services and may involve providing gynecologic backup call to residency several times a year. Currently, there is no in-house call required, but home Urogyn call may be necessary in the future. This position primarily focuses on clinical duties, with additional responsibilities in the education of residents and medical students, as well as research activities.
